I was born on September 13, 1968 in Ejura in Ashanti Region. I had a happy childhood growing up. As a child of a petty trader at the local market, I had an opportunity to interact with several other children of the women who were also petty traders in the market.

I had my primary and middle school education in Ejura between 1974-1982. In pursuit of secondary school education, I went to Anum Presbyterian School between 1983 and 1988 for Ordinary Level Certificate and continued to Nkroful Secondary School for Advanced Level Certificate between 1991-1993. After a one-year compulsory national service, I went University of Ghana for a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and History between 1994 and 1998. Between 2000-2001, I went back to the University of Ghana for a master’s degree in Library Studies.

I started working as a Librarian at the State Enterprises Commission in 2002. I joined Catholic University at its inception in 2003 as an Assistant Librarian. Currently, I am the Deputy Librarian at the University Library. I am fascinated with the use of ICT tools for the provision of information products and services to library users.

I am a Christian, married with three children.
