Antony Kwarteng Addai-Amoah is a young academic, whose journey is marked by a profound exploration of English language, literature and the nexus between educational theory and practice. His research focuses on African Literature, Postcolonial Literature, English Pedagogy and General Education. Currently, Anthony is a lecturer at the Department of Arts Education, Faculty of Education at the Catholic University of Ghana. Anthony is a member of several professional associations, including the International Literacy Association (ILA) and International English Language Teachers Association (IELTA). Anthony has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, and has presented academic papers at several international conferences. He has also participated and facilitated many seminars / webinars/ conferences /workshops locally and internationally. He also serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals: International Journal of Language and Literary Studies and the Contemporary Journal of African Studies. All these reflect his commitment to advancing scholarly discourse. Anthony has contributed significantly to national assignments and international organisations; in 2019, he had the privilege to partake in a national dialogue on the formation National Youth Parliament for the youth in Ghana. He also served as a facilitator for the Commonwealth Debate and Quiz Competition organized by Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD). In 2020, he had the privilege of working with World Health Organisation (WHO) as an Independent Monitor. Presently, Anthony serves as agent and counsellor for British Council. All these showcase his quest in shaping both academic and societal discourse.
